Home from Home
We invite guests to share our beautiful home which we have lovingly and tastefully restored since moving here in Autumn 2004. We are thrilled that during the Winter months (2008-2009) we completed the renovations (hooray!), and were awarded a Five Star Visit Wales award in recognition of the comfort, quality and service enjoyed by our guests. We invite all our guests to enjoy our beautifully restored home. From the moment you arrive and are greeted with a welcome drink in our lounge, we want you to enjoy your stay with us in our lovely home, in a safe, warm and friendly environment.
LOUNGE
Our elegant guest lounge retains much of its original character with its decorative moulded ceilings with ornate plasterwork and frieze. Crystal chandeliers, a warm cosy fire and comfortable sofas ensure that this is the ideal room for reading, relaxing or meeting with family and friends.
We have a selection of books,including local guides and maps, magazines and board games which guests are welcome to use at all times.
DINING ROOM
A full Welsh breakfast, with plenty of choice, is served in our well appointed and bright Dining Room, all rooms having individual tables. Our Guest Book can testify to the reputation and quality of our breakfasts( some of our guests set off early on their arrival day to enjoy one of Tony's breakfasts to start their holiday!) . We aim to use local produce and suppliers wherever possible( local butcher) and our breakfasts are freshly cooked to order .
Guests can choose from a variety of freshly prepared fruit salad ,grapefruit, cereals, local Llaeth y Llan fruit yoghurts and a full Welsh breakfast or a lighter option to help start the day before enjoying the natural beauty of the surrounding area.
We offer a vegetarian breakfast if preferred and if guests have any other special dietary requests, we will happily accommodate this- just let us know.
Breakfast is usually served between 8.30 a.m. and 9 a.m. However if you are on business, or prefer to start the day early, we are very flexible and can offer an earlier breakfast.
